Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F5-6 Surf / Sea State: Waist high + Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Shoreham for me againl. 5:30-7:30pm. Battled the traffic and arrived to
find no-one there at all!! The wind had just turned a bit west so was
fractionally offshore, with 4 surfers taking advantage of our absence in
the usual launch spot!! Rigged big (5.5m ) to ensure enough oomph for
riding and getting out. No problem, could have done with the 5m really, but
enjoyed a bit of extra zip on the inside. Wind direction was sweet for
going along the wave/shorebreak, waist high average, although lacking
punchiness. Hunting the bigger sets was key as they would steepen up
nicely. One or two decent hacks off the top and a lot of distance downthe
line, risking a thumping onto the shingle. good stuff.
